Alot of people in the cfs are scared that the mfs are going to cut their lunch. So what i am saying is that the mfs lack response times in their country towns. The cfs can provide just the same service if not better. So when i read some of the crap that gets posted it makes me want to point out that both fire services are not perfect.

Regardless of organisation, isnt it ALL of our objective to protecting life, property and the environment from the effects of fire and other dangers?

Agreed Pete - no service should worry about people cutting their lunch, after all - been outside Wakefield street during lunch time .... not 30 seconds thats for sure.

People get too worked up over 'time out the door', regardless if volunteer, part timer or career tthere are always things that will alter your response times
