Hi
I am research student coming to the end of my masters and I'm needing a photo for the title page of my thesis. My thesis is titled the fire management implications of feral olive removal and as such a photo of a fire burning through olives (such as the mt osmond fire) would be great. If you can help please let me know via E-mail: hast0029@flinders.edu.au. You will receive full recognition of your work.
Thanks for your help
Brenton
Good luck finding a photo (and I wouldn't mind reading your thesis when its finished either!).
If you haven't already tried it, a lot of fire photography lovers from all over Australia hang out at http://ozfire.org (http://ozfire.org), they might be worth a shot. :)
I would check out the CFS Promo site as im sure there are some pics of Mt Osmond on there http://www.fire-brigade.asn.au/
just dont forget to ask for permission to use it and credit the photographer...
Thanks for the feedback
The mt osmond photos on the promo site have been archived, hence I came here.
As menetioned in my first post I will pay full credit to the photographer.
You could also call the fire managment section for DEH.

Contact the promo unit via their website. The friendly folks there will be more than happy to pull some photos from the archives for you.
"Student"
PM "the assistant" I would think that she would have some photos on this topic as she did a similiar report while she was doing her degree in enviromental management.
Hi. I have selected a photo via pip. Thanks to those who offered help. Also thanks to the photographer, D. Lamplough
