By now most people would have watched this DVD and I just wanted to know what people thoughts are on it :? I have heard some very good feed back from people in this region but a few where not happy about the fact that most of the footage is of region one brigades... How ever when I sat down and talked to them about why this may be so then they where fine.
I dont think it matters what region/group/brigade you are in this DVD shows what the CFS does and we do more than just put fire's out we have come along way and the trip is still not over...

MY VIEW ONLY
Do people still carry on like that! :-o
The facts are simple, the places with the highest population get the most fires, hence the more chance of footage.
Yes I Have Seen It, I Am Still Trying To Get A Decent Copy, The One At The Station Had Graphic Problems & Was Not The Best, I Have Contacted Region & They Suggested Try The VFBA.
Any Thoughts On How To Obtain One.
I would say contact a fellow brigade, ask HQ if u can copy it cause it was bad the first time...
Get in touch with the media section at State HQ, they produced it.
ITs a good short film.
Only criticism, (and it only a tiny one) , out of all the horrible deluge, and all of what was reported to have happend, i think 10 minutes was a little bit short. - Doesn't quite pay "hommage" ?spelling. But , did however enjoy it, even if it was only 10 minutes in length.
:-)
Ok I Have Emailed HQ & I Will Let You Know How I Go About Obtaining A Copy.
I know there are plenty of copies around, it just depends on weather there is permission given to copy these?
