Title: Peterborough
Post by: Sarge on October 14, 2008, 04:56:47 PM
Firstly I wish to say this is not an attempt to open a can of worms, but purely a fact finding mission.

One of my guys just got back from a BA course at STC and heared that Peterborough MFS may be closed down soon due to low number of calls\jobs.

Does anyone know anymore about this or is it just a rumor?

sounds like common knowledge now.   Redundant service.

I haven't heard anything official.  not that i would expect to. but there have been many comments about some changes maybe happening up that way.

There has been talk for a number of years about closing some MFS country stations due to low call outs/no members or that there where more members in CFS/SES ...

I guess at the end of the day watch this  space....

Haven't heard anything, its surprising, they are quick to turn out and the last several jobs CFS haven't been able to attend due to no crew, so makes you wonder, which service do you keep ?
