FROM ADELAIDE NOW WEBSITE:-

A CFS firefighter was injured when he fell through the mezzanine floor of a damaged Blackwood supermarket.
He was taken to Flinders Hospital with a dislocated shoulder and chest injuries after  part of the mezzanine level office collapsed.

IGA Blackwood on Shepherds Hill Rd was largely destroyed in the fire which was reported about 12.20am.

The CFS responded with 50 firefighters and 9 appliances, taking about one hour to contain the blaze.

The fire resulted in more than a million dollars in damage, ruining the mezzanine office and destroying all stock.

It was caused by an electrical failure in the mezzanine office.
