Title: Refreshments at big jobs
Post by: Scania_1 on August 21, 2006, 08:17:55 AM
What do people think of current arrangements for being fed at big jobs? Particularly scrub fires. What sort of rations do you carry on your appliances? I know the Salvos do s good job with limited resources but maybe they could do a better job if the CFS had a system of supplying them with some substantial food to disperse at these jobs.Any thoughts.

that thread was Small incident Catering (http://www.safirefighter.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=53&topic=599.0).  I think in my group the catering will be better this year than it has been. All trucks now carry food packs, and campaign strike teams will be given extra hot food packs as they leave...
