Gday,
Well i dont know about up in the hills but down here in the South East it was a shocker. Pretty much incident free though.
Only had 1 minor grass fire extinguished very quickly and the contiuation of the Bog Lane Fire, which at one point was posing some threat to a shack.
But luckily very little activity across the state which is good!
Just received the weather page for sunday and it will be alot cooler but high levels of lightning.
Dont be fooled by the cooler weather Camo cause the lightning is gonna be dry lightning which can still pose some problems even though its only gonna be 26 degrees
Forestry Forecast listed possibility of 2mm of rain.
it was never really as bad as they planned for up here in the hills...
the wind never eventuated and so the FDIs stayed down a bit... i dont think they ever rose above 50 locally.
We got as high as 125 in the grass and 108 in the forest.
Only got to 32 at Noarlunga
It made 38.3 here at Port Elliot. No call outs here. Bonus
42 here in Naracoorte and 44 at keith,no sign of rain or lightning so hope it staysa way the lightning that is..

Three volunteers from SES assisted SAFECOM manning the CFS Hotline phones. Processed approximately 70 calls for the day. It was a great day to learn the system after training on Friday.
