Hey Camo...remember we have have had this thread before and lots of suggestions

Specifically 13th August 2006...see previous thread http://www.safirefighter.com/boards/index.php?topic=730.msg14692#msg14692

If we are going to talk about it lets actually do it and not almost a year later again :-D

Will it be a financial year calendar, or 2008? Or a different Cam-operating year?!

I assume it's not subject to CFS conditions that all people in the pics have to be decked out in full PPE?

How do I enter the draw for a colander?

I put the idea to CFS last year and they said they were too busy....Fair enough

So ive decided to take things on myself and organise one for the coming financial year 2007/2008.

My reasoning for a Financial calendar rather then a jan-dec calendar is our busiest time is over the summer and it sucks having important dates over 2 calendars.

I'd hope that it would be subject to the same scrutiny of full PPE! Littlejohn are you saying that we have some members out there at incidents in thongs again??

There are times Blue, when a kodak moment pops up and not all crew are fully decked out!  Not sure about thongs though. They've always got their pants on.

Generally mopping up, filling up, or a DGO, so unlikely to make an appearance in this publication.

(Then again, I have got a pic of Millicent 34 looking like Mr Whippy suffering from a serious rupture which I'd be happy to share!)

Such Kodak moments should not pop up Littlejohn. All crews should be fully decked out in PPE at all times, unless they're taking a break (which could also make for a dramatic photo vis a vis 'sweaty-carbon-smudged-face of firefighter with smoke in background' :-D).

If there are photos of crews without gloves/helmets/jackets then someone in the hierarchy of that brigade should get their @ss kicked for not looking out for their crews safety as a number one priority *hops off hobby horse*  :-P

For lack of pics, or lack of people willing to buy the calendar?

If it's for lack of pictures, sing out. I'll send a cd to you. I don't think there's anything too flash there, but you might get one or two adequate photos off it.

Nothing so devious Footy!

I just assumed that other people would have (and supply) worthwhile pics, but it sounds like we've all made the same assumption.
