Deputy Chief Resigns
« on: November 06, 2005, 05:40:13 AM »
Not sure of the facts yet, but it is our understanding the CFS will need a new Deputy Chief after Brenton resigned recently, possibly for greener pastures??

Anyone know more?

Don't know how the information flows to vollies in your neck of the woods but we haven't even been advised of his appointment yet, so don't imagine we'll find out about his resignation officially any time soon!

Maybe he knows what's ahead??

If its true they will have no problems filling the position as there are a number of good staff names that come to mind for the job.

Congratulations to Brenton - he made a huge career change and adapted well - despite the geering he may have received from both services. He was always up front, honest and there to have a go and help us where ever he could - wish him all the best for the future.
As for a new DCO - there are a few good operators in CFS that should apply - would be nice to see some fresh blood in HQ!
