10:31:26   24-11-08   MFS: FROM 2090 LOCKER OPEN ON APPLIANCE MFS Elizabeth 332 Response

the joy's of roller lockers,  anyone had any interesting experiences with open lockers...and mishaps??

wonder if there could be a technology to be able to signal to the driver that all lockers are closed and secure (similar to the new style Light Towers)

admititly quite recently ive had to chase after a appliance and shout at someone with a radio to stop a driver who was driving away lol...

I think this may only be a test message because as you may have not noticed, this happened to 331 aswell a few minutes before. Aswell as recieving this message from the comms bus. Elizabeth were called to an incident after this message so unless 2090 is in their area, i think it may only be a test.

Yes, technology is there, and in operation.. However is a discussion for its own thread. :)

Welllllll.... it's no problem over at Clayton. In fact, it's a long way from the end of the ramp to the water. This was March.  Even further now.

Exactly people see all the sand and think its safe to drive on.

At the moment we have little or no access to water on Hindmarsh island as the water is anything from 100-300m from the shore, hydrants are only for the first 1km of road and in the marina so any fire further down is a concern.
