im guessing you mean a nomex work shirt from grassies, rcr, etc...as far as im aware... nooone has ever made CFS "work shirts". however stewart and heaton were making a set of green hard yakka type shirt/pants... not sure what the progress is on those

Dont think S&H are making Nomex work shirts..

Medevac is right with the green ones i believe.. they are just like normal FIRE - RESCUE shirts.. not the Nomex type like what Mets wear..

From what I have heard, S&H are flat out producing the new SES PPE and badges that volunteers have been waiting 12 months for. This has just been delivered to Regional HQ.

So the casual and walking out uniforms could be back-logged.

HA!

We got 10 helmets. None of the new cold/wet weather gear or boots or new overalls. Just 10 helmets  :? :-o

Last week saw a pager message saying anything not collected from S&H would be moved to SES Central Region office. Now that staff are back this week, they might begin sorting it out.

My next training is Thursday 13th, so hopefully our newer people will have some PPE to try on. At least we should get the new sholder patches.

Good to see the CFS aren't the only emergency service to have trouble getting PPE to the vols ;)
