Does anyone know how to get a CFS ID as i am thinking about going to the comps if the cheap rates are avalible. Our whole brigade was going to get one each when we got our new digital camera, but nothing has been arranged yet

I think the ID cards are still produced at the CFS state training centre. You can either email the info there with the appropriate file names to suit each person or send a a disc with the appropriate from.

even when i showed my ID at the gate, they still charged me full price ($12), the lady claimed it was only cheaper in the morning!!! and im standing there thinking "bull----shiiiit!!" but couldnt be bothered making a fuss.

There is a form that you need to get from the region but also get the region camera and do the whole brigade in one night that way you will all get a new ID. The new one I have only last for one year?? Once your picture is taken its placed on ya tas for so you can get a new one each year just by calling the region.

if you have no luck there see if pip or ashes at promo unit can come along and take the pictures,or if your in the south east I also have a promo camera and am willing to travel to take pictures.

TA. i am in stirling. We had planned to get the whole brigade done when we bought our digital camera and it hasn't happened yet, i will bring it up tonight

If your at the comps this Sunday at callington you can get your photo ID card...

My Photo Was Sent Off A Few Months Ago, However Still Haven't Received The ID Card Yet. I Was Hoping To Have It For The 2005 Royal Adelaide Show Main Arena Spectacular.

Are they producing all the cards with the barcode on the bottom now and the CFS lanyard or is this just for Group Nominees.

Well they where not taking ID at the comps so I am hoping this was a forgotten point this year as there where alot of people after one....

Is the cheap rate for all vollies or just ones that are participating in a CFS capacity (static display or this year the main arena spectacular)?

Are the lanyards only for CFS staff? if not where do i get them from?

Don't know where i got mine from, but i didn't pay for it..

Can't remember if i got it at brigade level, or at one of the royal shows or something..... ??

Yes when I turned out with another brigade and I think you will have to use it to gain access to region H/Q..

Yep - used when contacting businesses in person (in civvies) re response planning and in the organisation of training activities.

Also used when peering over a back fence checking out a perfectly legal fire that a "concerned citizen" had made contact over.
