So whats happened to this place? I go away for a happy camping trip for a couple of weeks and this place has died in the arse!

Surely there is something worth talking about beyond "Oh wow, a firecall page"??

Well, in any case, if things don't start looking up soon, I'll start picking apart and critiquing the operations of XYZ service...  :wink:

I have done a 7 week one  :-P 

Mabey numbers you should look at the site and see most of the rubbish discussion has stopped however there has been some good threads pop up. Wouldn't it be expected that there be less discussion if people think about their posts first?

Been over in NSW & busy with training here.
But I have lots of news, like the new way State HQ is working with the units, exciting training developements in East region, a successful Land search SMAG meeting which if the powers that be actually listen to us will mean a better course!
Or I could talk about the cuts in budget having an impact, new RCR gear sitting in a metro unit instead of being issued to a unit, that some payed staff still haven't made up their mind what position they want!
But whats the point?
I was standing in amoungst the wreckage of the fatal semi smash @ Monash the other week & two thoughts crossed my mind as I watched CFS, MFS, SES, SAAS & SAPOL working together 1) All of the politics (internal & external) is crap, that this is what it's all about! & 2) Do I really want to be involved in it all anymore?
But we have got new guys to train, a replacement to find & get ready for the next one - life goes on! So I guess numbers haven't really found much to talk about :wink:
